During my recent city trip to Dunkeld, I had the pleasure of staying at Tayburn House, and I must say, it was an absolute gem! The warm and attentive hospitality from Trevor made us feel right at home, which is essential when you're traveling with family. The location is perfect for exploring the charming town - just a short stroll to the delightful cafés and traditional pubs. And of course, I can't forget to mention the breakfast! The extensive selection included local specialities like Stornoway black pudding, truly a treat for a wildlife conservationist appreciating local culture. Our ground-level room was spotless and cosy, equipped with a flat-screen TV for catching up on the latest wildlife documentaries, plus all the necessary tea and coffee facilities. We even had a beautiful view of Beatrix Potter's Garden right across the road, which added a magical touch to our stay. If you're looking for a serene escape that's also steeped in local charm, I wholeheartedly recommend Tayburn House!
